The name was derived from the arms of the Lake and how it branches in and out of our community, representing our pledge to support all areas of Lake of the Ozarks. We are committed to “branching out” into many different endeavors that will achieve the goal of increased economic development.

Advocating for an active transportation network that allows for the connectivity of trails, greenways and safer roadways connecting locals and tourists to communities and commerce.

CURRENT INITIATIVES
- Launching mentorship program focused on education, youth mentoring, job skills and outdoor recreation.
- Partnering with various municipalities and local parks to complete revitalization and beautification projects using various resources that include the National Civilian Community Corps program.
- Promoting reduced screen time through outdoor recreation by way of our “Hange Up and Hang Out!” and “Unplug and Explore!” initiative.
- Assisting the community with grant-writing and economic development efforts.
- Advocating for a regional trail network to boost commerce and tourism.

- Branches for the Lake partners with the city of Osage Beach with Safer Streets & Roads For All grant.
- Branches for the Lake hosts a team to complete trail improvements at Lake of the Ozarks State Park.
