Join Us in Making Lake of the Ozarks the Best Community in the Midwest
Branches for the Lake (B4TL), a 501(c)(3) founded in December 2021, is dedicated to strengthening the Lake of the Ozarks community through connection, collaboration, and opportunity.
The name Branches for the Lake was inspired by the arms of the Lake and how they branch in and out of our community—representing our commitment to reach all areas of the Lake and support the people within it.
Originally founded with a focus on community-driven economic development and connectivity, B4TL helped support initiatives such as the Trails Initiative and Magic Dragon Trails, recognizing the importance of building both physical connections and meaningful relationships within our community. Today, we are proud to see those efforts continue to grow under their own leadership.
As the needs of our community have evolved, so has our focus.
Working together for your future.
We identify real needs within our community and bring people together to create solutions with purpose and intention.
Today, our primary focus is the development of our Mentorship Program, supporting individuals—especially young people ages 16–25—who may be navigating gaps in education, life skills, employment, or support systems.
We believe that by investing in people, we strengthen the future of our entire community.

Here for You.
Guided by the “4 C’s”—Community, Collaboration, Connectivity, and Commerce—Branches for the Lake continues to support initiatives that enhance education, health, workforce development, and overall quality of life.
We carry forward the vision of our founder, Janice Gentile, and the influence of community leaders like Wrendy Marcinik—focusing on connection, mentorship, and solutions that make a lasting impact.
Our Approach
We don’t believe in working alone. We believe in bringing people together, identifying opportunities, and creating real solutions—because when a community works together, everything is possible.

Community
With a deep-rooted commitment to the community, we aim to facilitate positive change by addressing local challenges and filling community needs.

Collaboration
Recognizing the strength in unity, we actively foster collaborations with local businesses, organizations and governmental entities to create partnerships that leverage collective resources.

Connectivity
Advocating for an active transportation network that allows for the connectivity of trails, greenways and safer roadways connecting locals and tourists to communities and commerce.

Commerce
A thriving economy is vital for the long-term wellbeing of our community. Our initiatives are designed to ensure a continuous flow of economic activities throughout the year, creating sustainable opportunities that benefit all.
